This limited release wine is a fitting tribute to our forefather, James Graham, who became the First Duke Of Montrose in 1707.
Isolated from a single block on our Kangaroo Ground vineyard, the fruit for this wine was hand-picked and hand-sorted then whole berry fermented in open pots. The wine was pressed into and matured in carefully selected new and seasoned French oak barrels for 18 months. The result is a beautifully balanced and complex shiraz with vibrant colour, pronounced red berry, dark cherry and mocha flavours with soft, rounded tannins.
