A now extinct volcano, this vineyard has rare black basalt soils and plenty of sunshine making it a unique site for Pinot Noir..\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA blend of three Pinot Noir clones, MV6, Pommard and G5, the fruit for this wine was wild yeast fermented in small open fermenters, with some ferments using 100% wholebunch.
