2024 Black Spur Pinot Noir

A beautifully expressive pinot noir showing depth and elegance in equal measure. Deep cherry in colour, the nose opens with lifted aromas of fresh red berries, cooked strawberry, and a hint of lavender spice. The palate is generous yet refined, layered with cherry and savoury spice characters that unfold gently across a silky, lingering finish.Crafted from three pinot noir clones — MV6, Pommard and G5 — and wild yeast fermented in small open fermenters, with a portion of whole bunches adding subtle complexity and structure. Maturation in a mix of one-year-old and seasoned French hogsheads and puncheons brings harmony and finesse to this graceful Yarra Valley wine.
